As a couple you loved romantic vacations in Jamaica. The Jewel Lagoon Water Park may quite possibly be the piece de resistance for any  youngster--and for those simply young at heart . This water park, with a 5,000-square-foot oceanfront sundeck and  zero-entry beach lagoon (complete with geysers), is the perfect place to spend some quality time together as a family. Everyone will love the splash-down pools and lazy river, complete with rock grottos and waterfalls. Kids will thrill to the multi-level kids slides and splash zone, and the entire family will enjoy zipping along the speed slide and the family raft ride. All that adventure will work up an appetite. Luckily, the water park features a dining area with full-service bar and grill. Private cabanas are available for rent when it's time to take a break from the action.

And when mom and dad need some down time, there's The Jewel Runaway Bay Kids’ Club, which features five programs for kids from 18 months to 17 years old that are both fun and educational. Archery, hay rides, laser tag, basketball, tennis and movie nights make up a just a small sampling of the activities on offer. Located just off the lobby, Jewel Runaway Bay's Kid Lounge features board games and a daily activity board, listing the day's excursions and programs for children 11 and older. All activities are overseen by gem counselors, trained in first aid, CPR and AED, so parents can relax and enjoy their time in the sun. On-site nannies mean parents can extend their fun well into the evening.
