What a wonderful property for family and friends. You'll feel comfortable the minute you park in the driveway. The 4 bedroom 2 bath property includes several desirable amenties for an vacationing guest: dock with swing and water toys, covered and open decks, a great 3 season sunroom, two living spaces and great surrounding landscaping throughout.

The Heron House 2 story home Entry leads you around the beautiful L-shaped kitchen with TV and high top dining for 6. Form the kitchen you'll enter into the Living Room. This Living Room boasts lots of seating, a futon and big screen TV. Just past the Living Room is a great 3 Seasons Room. You'll sit here most of the day taking in the lake views - visiting, reading and relaxing! Down the hall from the Kitchen are the hall bath with a shower tub and a second bedroom with queen and twin beds. The Master bedroom is also upstairs and faces lakeside with its relaxing decor and king size bed. Downstairs presents guests with: a Family Room with TV and queen sofa sleeper, a second nice sized shower bath and a laundry room with extra refrigerator. The 3rd bedroom has a queen size bed and the 4th bedroom has a lakeside view of the Lake with a full size bed.

The 1,700 square foot vacation rental is available year around and features central heating/air, satellite service, 2 TV's, DVD players, phone, ceiling fans, all bedding, towels and iron. The kitchen is fully furnished with new stainless steel appliances (including a convection oven), dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator. Other desirable features include weekly trash pick-up, open parking, large laundry room and extra refrigerator - perfect for all your beverages. Onsite covered boat slips (24’ and 20’) and 2 10' PWC slips are available - each renting for $10 per day.

You'll certainly be outside enjoying what the Lake and this special property have to offer. Just off the 3 Seasons Room is a spacious deck overlooking the Lake - and the deck is shaded in the afternoon making it even more enjoyable. The 3 Seasons Room has steps leading down to the covered lower level patio (also accessed from the lower level family room slider). The covered patio has a swing and additional seating for at least 7-9 guests. The property is surrounded by wonderful landscaped gardens that are sure to please and make you feel special. The owners added a gas grill to the property and raised the roof line on the dock in 2011. The grassy and shaded lakefront yard is a perfect place for kids to play - includes a large hammock perfect for naps under the large shade tree. And the little one will enjoy the old ramp area with gentle access to the water and easy place to store your extra inflatable water toys. The dock has a great sun deck with lots of seating, a swing, two slips, one boat lift, 2 PWC lifts and a fish cleaning station.

This special property offers guest spectacular panoramic views of the lake, excellent fishing, and an amazing view of the Ozark’s morning sunrise. This "quiet side" retreat is 25-30 minutes away from all the action on the other side of the Lake - Bagnall Dam, Lake Ozarks, and Osage Beach - via the community bridge.

Properties are furnished for normal housekeeping with dishes, cookware, flatware, glasses, grills, and basic appliances. Sofa sleepers are recommended for children’s use only. We are also pleased to provide bed linens, bath towels, and a starter packet of detergents, bath soaps, trash bags and paper products (toilet paper and paper towels). Guests should bring replacements for these starter packet items, your own beach towels, soaps, personal toiletries, coolers, cleaning supplies, camera, life jackets, etc.

ANNIVERSARY HAWAIIAN GETAWAY

A SPECIAL COUPLE JUST RETURNED FROM CELEBRATING THEIR 5TH WEDDDING ANNIVERSARY IN HONOLULU AND IN MAUI

Hawaii was beautiful and the weather was amazing!  Here's some info that may be helpful 

for future clients:

ROYAL HAWAIIAN

Royal Hawaiian: best beach in Honolulu.  It is a very urban area so many of the hotels were 

not even on the beach.  Pool was teeny tiny, but beach was great.  Our room was in the 

tower so much better views, and there was access to complimentary happy hour (beer, 

wine, small appetizers) and breakfast buffet (fruit, pastries, coffee, and juice) every day.  

Also, it connected to the Royal Hawaiian shopping center so very close proximity to mall 

and central strip of very high-end shops.  Great location.  I don't really recommend renting a car 

here because the traffic is bad and the city would be difficult to navigate for tourists.  We 

ended up booking our Pearl Harbor tour through a company we found on Trip Adviser.  It was 

like $95 a person and it included transportation to and from, timed tickets for the Arizona

 memorial and USS Missouri ship.  Then it took us to the Punchbowl Veterans National 

Cemetery and about an hour tour through downtown.  The driver narrated during the drive.  

Well worth the money.

THE WESTIN MAUI RESORT & SPA

The Westin in Maui: best hotel in that area of Maui (really just excluding Wailea).  Pool area was

 huge, had areas for kids and adults-only.  You could also sit at the edge of the pool deck 

facing the beach (best of both worlds).  Beach was also amazing, swimming and surfing there 

everyday.  They also had excursion boats picking up right at our beach.  It was nice to have the 

breakfast buffet included (otherwise $28 for adults and $14 for children).  Restaurant was nice, 

also had a snack shack by the pool for casual lunch items.  Definitely want a rental car in Maui 

so you can tour the island yourself, go where you want at your own pace 

(driving was really easy there).

All in all, Hawaii is awesome (but be prepared to spend).  Baggage fees x 3, resort fees at Westin 

(thank goodness self-parking was included), rental car taxes and fees, and meals at hotels and

 elsewhere were generally $15-40 a plate.

HONOLULU FAMILY VACATION

THIS WONDERFUL LADY TOOK HER SON AND GRANDCHILDREN TO HONOLULU FOR A SPECIAL FAMILY VACATION!

What a great vacation.  Everything went smooth, going out two of us even got pre-check  through 

security and all of us got pre-check coming home.  We saw no problems getting through security 

in St. Louis or in Honolulu.

Waikiki Beach Tower

Hawaii was everything we hoped it would be, perfect 

weather, plenty of sunshine and great beaches.  Waikiki 

was not as crowded as we thought it might be which 

was great for us.  Of course there was all types of 

sunbathers but I was somewhat surprised that there was 

not a whole lot of skimpy suits.  Most people seemed 

to be more modest.  The view from the condo was 

fabulous and even though it was across the street, 

you just walked out, pushed the walk  button and crossed

the street and you were at the beach.

Our condo was the best, clean and stocked with eating and cooking utensils. They cleaned and made sure we had fresh towels each day.  The staff was very helpful with any info we needed.  They can book trips for you but again it was so nice to have that done ahead.  There was a grocery store within walking distance that was reasonable so we were able to stock up.   

Pearl Harbor was a must, very moving and a good history 

lesson for the young.  I highly recommend pre booking 

the trip through you.  They sell out of tickets by noon 

most days and the lines are long if you do this on your own.  

Also you are not allowed to take any bags onto the grounds unless it is see through and then you have to go through security and wait for a ranger to come check your bag.  Cameras and phones and wallets that will fit in your pocket can go in.  They do have a place where you can check your bags for a fee.                                                                                                    

Arizona Memoria

I recommend that you check into the trolley system when you get there.  It does cost but you can get anywhere in a reasonable amount of time and I would also recommend that you buy a three or five day pass.  We were able to take the Blue line up the coast to Sandy Beach with stops along 

the way for photos. The green line took us up and into Diamond head creator and the pink line  takes you around town to any restaurants and shops.  A two day ticket was $45 and a five day was $65.  You can ride all day as many time as you want on any of these lines.

Do not and I repeat do not take many clothes.  You do not need them  We over packed, we could

have taken a third of what we did.

The Stadium Swap meet is a must.  The hotel got us a van to and from the meet that was $12

 person round trip and it was a $1 to get in.  Anything and everything you could buy in Honolulu 

was at least half the price and even less.  We were going to stay two hours and decided to do four

and could have done the 6 hours.  It is open on Wed, Sat and Sundays.

NEW ORLEANS — Universal Orlando says visitors to its upcoming Volcano Bay water park won’t have to stand in long lines, but Universal did not reveal how it will accomplish that.

Scheduled to open in 2017, the 28-acre Volcano Bay (Universal Orlando’s third theme park) will feature a volcano rising above a beach surrounded by waterfalls by day and glowing lava by night.

                                    

Experiences will include a multi-directional wave pool with sandy beaches, a peaceful winding river, twisting multi-rider raft rides, body slides that drop from the top of the volcano into water below, and private two-story cabanas.

IBEROSTAR GRAND HOTEL PARAISO

These special clients were celebrating a birthday at the IBEROSTAR GRAND HOTEL PARAISO in the Riviera Maya last week.

The iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso was not full and it was great. We liked the buffets best, I liked the Italian Restaurant very much.  Absolutely loved the Grand would go back in a heartbeat. Really enjoyed it. Kinda hot for golf but cooler than STL lol. I really liked the same time zone and only 3 hr flight. I forgot the beach bag. It was still in STL and it would have been very handy to have.
