St. Luke's Spirit of Women - Day of Dance

Join Travel for You at the Day of Dance, Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Day of Dance is an engaging, energizing event that brings together communities across the country and motivates women and their families to take action for their health. As the region’s exclusive Spirit of Women hospital, St. Luke’s has offered Day of Dance to the community for two years, with 800 attendees at the 2010 event.

Spirit of Women hospitals ascribe to the highest standards in women’s health education and outreach and Day of Dance is a flagship event for Spirit of Women Hospitals. More than 70 Spirit of Women hospitals across the nation will hold Day of Dance events on February 26, 2011 attracting over 80,000 consumers nationwide.

St. Luke’s launched its Spirit of Women program in April 2008 and the membership has grown to nearly 6,000 women who receive event and health information, as well as special Spirit discounts from over 80 Spirit Rewards Partners. Feedback from our sponsors and attendees went beyond expectations and the consensus among everyone was that Day of Dance was a resounding success.

With a primary focus on cardiovascular health, the St. Luke’s Day of Dance also includes other health and wellness focus areas, such as spine health and orthopedics, and decade-specific preventive health education.

The third annual St. Luke’s Day of Dance is scheduled for Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the St. Louis Frontenac Hilton and is free to the community.
