Ocean Blue by H10 - Punta Cana, Dominican Republic We just recently returned from our vacation in Punta Cana. We went last year for my husband’s 50th birthday and liked it so much decided to go back this year for my 50th birthday. We again stayed at Ocean Blue for 8 days. The staff made our stay especially enjoyable as they all do their best to make the guests comfortable. Our favorite drink was “Renaldo’s Special” (our favorite bartender at the swim-up bar – his own specialty drink). There are a wide variety of restaurants including Mexican, Italian, Dominican, steak house, and buffets. The buffet generally had a different main theme each night (Chinese, Mexican, Dominican, etc). My favorites were the Steak House and the Mexican. All the staff 
were quick to join the guests in a shot of Mamajuana upon request (the aphrodisiac drink of the island also known to have “healing powers”). Our room and housekeeping services were wonderful as well. The resort seems to go out of their way to keep the guests happy with the smallest of things. We asked for an extra blanket which we were given and then the next day apparently the whole complex had also gotten blankets. We went to the gift shop looking for sore throat lozengers and found only mint type chewables. The next day there were Halls cough drops on the shelve. This was, by far, the best vacation we have ever had and would recommend to our friends and family.
